What to expect

  • Holistic Approach

This isn't just about breastfeeding tips – I take a holistic approach to support new moms. I acknowledge that feeding a baby is part of a larger picture that includes physical, emotional, and mental well-being. You'll receive guidance on lactation, bottle feeding, developmental milestones, but also have opportunities to discuss topics like self-care, managing stress, nutrition, and balancing your personal and family life.

  • Non-Judgmental Environment

This group is for every mother or parent, no matter where you are on your breastfeeding journey. Whether you're exclusively breastfeeding, supplementing with formula, or have chosen not to breastfeed, you are welcome. Our group celebrates diverse choices and provides a space where you can share your challenges and successes without fear of judgment.

  • Expert Guidance

The group is led by am experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who is here to provide practical advice, answer your questions, and help you troubleshoot any feeding challenges you may face. I will also offer information and resources on pumping, weaning, and integrating feeding into your lifestyle as your baby grows.

  • A Sense of Community

One of the greatest gifts of the feeding support group is the community it builds. You'll have the chance to meet other local mothers/parents who are going through similar experiences. It’s an opportunity to share stories, offer advice, and build friendships that can last well beyond the group.

  • A Safe Space to Learn and Grow

Each meeting is designed to be a safe, comfortable space for learning. You’re encouraged to ask questions, express concerns, and talk openly about your experiences. Whether you’re struggling with latch issues, need help with bottle feeding, or want to discuss how to balance breastfeeding with returning to work, our group is here to offer the support you need.

  • Free Resources and Materials

As part of my commitment to supporting mothers and parents in their feeding journeys, I will provide a variety of resources and referrals to other providers I trust in the prenatal and postpartum space.
